Why is the crime figure for Northwest Territories rather than for X1A?

Police-reported crime is not published for postal areas anywhere in Canada. Statistics Canada publishes it by police service, aggregated to metropolitan areas and provinces, which for X1A means Northwest Territories. There is no municipal feed covering this area, so the regional figure is the finest available.
