Why is the crime figure for Newfoundland and Labrador rather than for A0G?

Police-reported crime is not published for postal areas anywhere in Canada. Statistics Canada publishes it by police service, aggregated to metropolitan areas and provinces, which for A0G means Newfoundland and Labrador. There is no municipal feed covering this area, so the regional figure is the finest available.

How current is this profile?

The census figures are from the 2021 Census.
